Incorporated in May 2012, Altogether Construction Ltd is a new ‘not for profit’ Social enterprise, built upon the success of Altogether Construction Personnel Ltd, that was established in 2005 when also referred to then as “Altogether Construction”.
The original business had traded as a jobs brokerage and training provider, assisting and training unemployed people to approach construction sites and achieving job outcomes and targets for government funded programmes.
The business has established partnerships, memberships and fellowships within the construction sector with skills organisations, institutions and key stakeholders helping society, the community and the economy in supporting and providing people with mental ill health and disadvantaged by unemployment the chance to train and enter into the Construction environment.
Altogether Construction will continue it’s good track-record of providing customers and members with construction opportunities, having been supplying employability consultancy solutions and local labour services to public sector organisations, local authorities, FE colleges, training providers, the prison services and charities.
In 2010, the organisation was a shortlisted finalist for the Customer Service Award in Barking & Dagenham’s Business Awards.
In developing ‘Corporate Social Responsiveness’ with local contractors, and sector’s suppliers for building materials, we have been building a strong image, that of a highly progressive and ethical organisation. Our specialised Construction Awareness Sessions and CSCS training have been especially successful for our partners in achieving ESF, LSC & LDA outputs and outcomes for unemployed people.
